On Thursday April the 4th Member of Parliament for Eastbourne and Willingdon Stephen Lloyd (right) took part in an informal presentation of the forthcoming “Gay Kids UK – Childhood Revisited” exhibition at Towner. Also present were Community Strategy and Involvement Manager Monica Ray from Eastbourne Council (second from the right), Outreach and Participation Manager at the Towner Léa Guzzo (third), producer Rolf Martin Angeltvedt (fourth), artist/curator Lill-Ann Chepstow-Lusty (front right) and researcher Bera Ulstein Moseng (front left). More than 70 visitors were given a presentation of some of the childhood photos and quotes from the oral histories and treated to a feast of wine, tea, coffee & nibbles kindly sponsored by Eastbourne Council For more info about what the exhibition is all about check out this blog.
Gay Kids UK – Childhood Revisited is proud to announce the support of Stephen Lloyd, the Member of Parliament for Eastbourne and Willingdon. On the forthcoming informal teaser at the Towner, Thursday this week, Stephen Lloyd will favour the project with his presence and a short speech. You can also enjoy a glass of wine, and a presentation of some of the childhood photos and quotes from the oral histories that Lill-Ann and Bera have collected so far. You are advised to come early. The event starts sharply at 7 pm.
